CNC Hot Upset Forming and Riveting Machine
The hot upset forming and riveting process uses heat and pressure to form the fastener. The material being formed becomes malleable and collapses under pressure applied by the powerhead. Using this process, it is possible to form a round fastener into a square hole, creating very high torque joints.
It is divided in two types according to different heating methods. One method is to heat the powerhead by high frequency electric heater coils, the rivets is softened by high temperature powerhead and formed by orbital riveting. The other one method is to heat the rivets( not the powerhead) by medium frequency induction heater, then the hot rivets is formed by radial riveting machine.
The hot upset forming and riveting machine can be equipped with CNC control system, to automatically control the heater temperature and riveting positioning, as well it can be designed as low cost with manual control system. We will customize it as your requirement.
High precision temperature controlThis machine has several temperature controller for processing each point precise temperature control, to carry out single point temperature controlling. Users can set the high and low limit temperature between ambient temperature and 900℃ as your designing. The temperature difference less than ±5℃. |

Control mode selectionSelect AUTO or MANUAL mode. Manual mode is single action, to test the machine, After testing turn mode switch to Auto mode. Auto mode use PCL and touch screen interface to control the machine, it is easy to control, reliable and portable. |
